Visiting the Borgata - Hotel Suite Review
During spring break, we decided to take a little trip over to Atlantic City for a little overnight getaway. Travelzoo was running an awesome deal of a room in the Borgata for $89 (standard room) or $129 (for the Fiore Suite) between Monday and Thursday. Felix was feeling a bit fancy, so he opted to get us a suite!
We've been to the Borgata many times - but this was our first time in the suite. I will say that Borgata is a bit further from the rest of Atlantic City and the strip, so if you are just staying for one night, we decided to just stay in the Borgata since it runs its own casino.
We arrived on a Monday afternoon - it wasn't too crowded, but we were surprised that it wasn't empty. Because check-in is at 4pm, we left our bags in the car and played the casinos for a bit first. After losing a bit of money, we got on the check out line at 4pm. There was definitely a long line of people, however, it went quickly because there were many attendants working behind the counter which I appreciated. We got the choice of having a high floor room or a low floor room, which I thought was a nice choice to have.
When you go to the elevators of the room, there is a "living room" with a security guard at the front. I really liked that there was a guard so that way only guests staying in the hotel can get in. The living area had its own wifi and was a nice little lounge if you are doing work or waiting for a friend.
We were super excited to stay in the suite! And honestly, we had to spend a lot of time here because we gambled our money so fast that we didn't want to spend anymore. LOL!
Here was the suite - it was definitely luxurious and spacious. The living area was well kept. I'm unsure of how often they vacuum because I did step on something brown (looked like food), which freaked me out (because I thought it was NOT food lol).
My favorite part of the suite was the bathroom. It's spacious, has two sinks, a bathtub, and a shower, as well as a small vanity. I personally love to take baths - especially since our new home doesn't have a bathtub. I know that the bathtubs don't tend to be cleaned every time because most times people don't use it, so I always expect to clean it myself (I always bring cleaning supplies lol). There was a small layer of dust, but nothing was dirty. I legitimately took the best, relaxing bath ever!
Then, of course, Felix's favorite part - the bed. It was such a plush bed. And the pillows were squishy but firm and I woke up wanting to take the bed home with me! It was such a lovely bed to sleep in!
Overall, we had a lovely evening at the Borgata. With the spacious room, great price and lovely bed, we felt very well rested ... although we went home with our wallets much lighter ;)
